Can i gain more distance?
I'm thinking about trying to get in to long driving.
As of right now I do not have the club head or ball speed to compete with them.
My club speed hovers at around 120 and my ball speed is around 175-180. I'm wondering how I could possibly get my club speed up another 20 mph. Or will that even be possible?

Hi everybody!
Greetings from Sweden!
I'm a 49 year old guy who has been playing golf off and on for the last twenty years, had a break between 1996 to 2005 and another break for 2-3 years when my daughter was born in -09.
Trying to make up for it now, just have to convince my wife that it's good for the whole family if I
can play as much golf as possible...
Found this forum about a week ago and hasn't stop laughing since, you guys are hilarious.
Looking forward to a long and prosperous membership...

THE Best Golf Video Ever (just my opinion)
My name is Greg Cuson and I spam videos I made for my clients while lying about where I found them. My website is http://www.gregcuson.net/ and my email that I used to sign up is gregcuson@mac.com.
Of all the people to find this video, my mom actually sent it too me. Don't know much about junior golf, but this video of a single drive...

Hey folks! New member here.
Just a quick intro... My old golf forum has been swallowed up by a bigger company trying too desperately to get my money, so my search for a new golf forum has taken me here.
I've been playing about 15 years, I shoot low 90's (but mostly play 9 holes). I shot 88 last summer & look to build on that.
When not playing golf, I play guitar, read, shoot clays and hang with the family.
I look forward to talking some golf.

Hello
I'm new to this forum and am glad I found it. I've played the game for 45+ years and love to talk about it almost as much as playing. I travel quite a bit in my work and get to play all over the US - in fact I'm working on playing in every state. My wife also has been playing for about five years now and credits my patience as a teacher with her love of the game. In fact she commented that I was lots nicer teaching golf than tennis. I replied that I didn't have to chase after her bad...

Hi everyone. I play about once a week and seldom practice. Feel good when I break 90 which isn't very often [emoji30]but it's all about the challenge and just getting out there. Looking forward to reading and posting. Ya'll sound like a fun bunch!

Hello Shottalk
A native Texan that has found himself in the middle of desert in Az ... and I love the dry heat.
I am high handicapper that loves the game. I just enjoy being alive, and to still have the ability to swing a club.
I have worked in IT for the past 40 years, primarily supporting and managing data centers.
What did I leave out?

Hello New Golf Friends
Just joined up today. I live in the Niagara region of Ontario, Canada. My golfing background is quite extensive. Started playing when I was around 8. Dabbled with it in my teen years and started taking it seriously in my early 20's.
My golfing hero's were Jack Nicklaus growing up but then started becoming more and more of a Ben Hogan fan the older I got. I have only ever played Hogan irons and then became more interested in him when I read the best instructional book ever...

ShotTalk members...unite!!!
Just in case the debacle of this week ever happens again...can I get everyone's email address. Also, I'm going to look into what it takes to start/buy/takeover a forum.
Yes, I know I have some of them but please participate.
When ST went down earlier this week it was like friends and family just disappeared and I'll be damned if it ever happens again.

New Hoosier Hacker
Hello all,
I am a 48 year old brand new golfer. I played a few rounds in high school (a place to sneak beer drinking). My Son bought me a complete set of Topflite gamers a couple of Fathers days ago and I started hitting them on the driving range. I only played a dozen times a year over the last 2 seasons, but got bit hard this spring at a company outing.
Don't consider myself a golfer, but I love the game. Makes me think, gives me some needed exercise, and allows me an opportunity to...

Hello Shottalk!
New guy here. Great site and I love how you guys kid with each other. Some of this wouldn't go over very well with other forums. Golf really is a good sport for having fun and teasing your friends, as well as giving great support and building friendships.
I'm just past 60, been playing my whole life, just for fun, and hopefully I can add to the great stories that golf outings provide. I recently replaced all my clubs and putter, taking advantage of what new design and technology has to...
